Celtic the invincibles

Jim McIntyre insists his Ross County side are not facing mission impossible when they take on Celtic on Sunday.

Brendan Rodgers’ rampant Hoops head to Dingwall knowing they are just six games away from recording an undefeated Ladbrokes Premiership campaign.

But, while Staggies boss McIntyre is full of respect for the Parkhead treble-chasers, he still believes his team can spring an upset.

He said: “We know it’s going to be difficult, but it’s not an insurmountable task.

“Celtic have been absolutely flying this season.

“But the carrot for us is try to become the first team to beat them.

“Other teams have shown that they can get close and we know, if we’re right at it, we’ve got a chance.

“But we need everybody to be at their top level and equally we need one or two of Celtic’s boys not to be.

“We need to go in with the belief that we can win the match and we will do. But we also have to do a lot of things right.”
