Everton have appointed Dave Adams as the club’s new academy head of coaching.
The 37-year-old has been recruited from Swansea where he performed the same role for the south Wales club.
“This is a big club, with big ambitions to be the best and to produce world-class players,” said Adams.
“Everton has a proud history of producing good, young players and I’m excited by the opportunity to work in an environment where the vision is to be the best.”
Academy director Dr Peter Vint led the recruitment process and chose Adams from a list of more than 90 domestic and international candidates.
“I believe Dave’s experience and understanding of global high-performance environments will be a tremendous complement to our coaches, to me and our academy management team, and to our entire academy staff,” he said.
