“As a professional footballer, you feel quite lucky to get paid doing something you enjoy. My earliest memories of watching the game involve Celtic. My uncle Gavin took me to Celtic park for my first ever old firm game; Celtic 6-2 Rangers. I was a young boy, and to be honest, I was scared watching the game. The atmosphere was like nothing I had ever experienced.

Chris Sutton scored inside two minutes of his old firm debut. The ground erupted and I was thrown four rows beyond my seat. I couldn’t see my uncle Gavin and the noise was unbelievable. By the time Chris Sutton scored the sixth, I must have been about a mile away from all my friends cuddling someone I didn’t even know wearing a green and white scarf. Magic!”
