Lee Johnson questioned his sides mentality after playing two games last week.
The former Sydney FC striker says the Leith side can use the weekends loss as motivation.
He said: “I think every player is different the way you motivte yourself for each game is on you.
“You need to be professional enough to know what your body needs.
“For me as you get older you look for every sort of added motivation you need to get enthused about things.
“I like to play with anger, any sort of motivation you need spur you on to become a better player to get the result that you need.”
The winner over the two legs will face Unai Emery’s Aston Villa side in the next round, meaning a familiar face could be returning to Edinburgh in Hibees hero John McGinn.
