The Juventus manager has been heavily linked with the Stamford Bridge job, with rumours circulating that the Italian could depart Turin at the end of the season to take up the role.
In 2011, Allegri won AC Milan their first league title since 2004, although it was to prove as far as he could take the club during his spell there, being relieved of his duties in January 2014, with the team sitting in a disappointing 11th place in the table.
Allegri was not out of work for long however, and was appointed as successor to Antonio Conte in the summer. It was to be a successful year for The Old Lady, adding another Serie A title to their collection, as well as reaching a Champions League final, and for Allegri himself, picking up the award for Serie A coach of the year at the end of 2015.
With Juventus currently sitting in second place, they are pushing Napoli to win a second league title in a row. This makes Allegri a manager on a hot streak. With his track record of bringing success to big clubs, he makes for an interesting option for Chelsea.
