Hearts have accepted a two-match ban for full-back Adam Eckersley after he was served a notice of complaint for violent conduct.
Eckersley was accused of head-butting Hibernian midfielder Scott Allan during last Sunday’s Edinburgh Derby.
The 29-year-old, who has been told he can leave the club at the end of the season, has accepted the charge and will now miss the games against Raith Rovers and Cowdenbeath as a result.
