According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United may consider selling Memphis to Southampton if it will help secure the signing for Saints striker, Sadio Mane.

Having made just 15 starts for the Red Devils, Memphis hasn’t hit the ground running as many fans had hoped and the club may cut their losses at the end of the season.

Sadio has also struggled this season, with 19 Premier League appearances only producing 2 assists between November and the middle of March.

Southampton manager, Ronald Koeman, is apparently a long term admirer of the Dutch winger and according to rumours even tried to sign him before Manchester United in the summer.

Mane has been an Old Trafford target for over a year and the Senegalese forward is said to be keen on a move the Manchester United in the summer, should the clubs reach an agreement.
