Rangers have reportedly had an opening bid rejected for Feyenoord striker Danilo, as Michael Beale looks to strengthen his attacking options.

The 24-year-old Brazilian scored 10 goals and added 3 assists in 33 Eredivisie games at De Kuip last season, with Rangers looking to further add to their front line following the £3 million arrival of Sam Lammers from Atalanta.

The Light Blues are also said to be still in talks with Brighton over a loan move for forward Abdallah Sima.

Sima impressed when he came up against the Gers in 2021 whilst playing for Slavia Prague which prompted Brighton to shell out a reported £7 million for the Senegal internationalist.

He has found opportunities limited however, failing to make an appearance at the Amex, spending time on loan with Stoke City and Angers.

The 22-year-old could arrive at Ibrox as early as this week, joining the already signed Lammers, Dujon Sterling, Kieran Dowell and Jack Butland.
