Manchester United have offered Zlatan Ibrahimovic a 1 yr contract, with an option to extend it, according to French media, RMC Sport.

Although the Swede will be available on a free transfer in the summer, it’s believed Ibrahimovic wants a contract of around €15m per season, an amount which has forced many clubs to backdown.

RMC Sport who were the first to break the news of Anthony Martial signing for the Red Devils, said the TV rights money will make it more affordable for Manchester United to sign Ibrahimovic.

While rumours did suggest he may sign for MLS outfit, LA Galaxy, RMC report that the club have already signed their “designed trio” which allows them to freely pay 3 players. This would mean Ibrahimovic would either need to take a pay cut or one of the current 3 (Steven Gerrard, Robbie Keane and Giovani Dos Santos) would need to be sold.
