05 Feb ‘I’d love to park the taxi never mind the bus’ – Ogilvie
We’ve all heard of parking the bus now East Kilbride boss Billy Ogilvie believes the only way to stop in-form Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths scoring is to park his taxi in front of the goals.
Ogilvie, a taxi driver while not taking the East Kilbride side, is relishing the prospect of facing the Scottish champions in the Scottish Cup on Sunday but knows his side will be extremely up against it.
Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho famously accused the opposition of parking the bus in an ultra defensive showing and Ogilvie believes they’ll have to do something similar against Celtic.
“I’ve thought about parking my taxi in front of the goal and all that,” he told the Daily Record.
“In fact, I nearly went to Glasgow Central Station and got 12 of them, just to put them all around the 18-yard box.
“But success for us will be that the players perform to their qualities and they don’t get wrapped up in the occasion.”
