Graham Taylor dies aged 72

Former England football manager Graham Taylor has died aged of 72.

He led the International side from 1990 – 1993, resigning from his position having failed to guide the team to the World Cup finals in the United States in 1994.

Taylor’s club career involved two spells at Aston Villa, in his first spell, he led the Midlands club to runners-up spot in the old first division. He achieved a similar finish as manager of Watford and also guided the Hornets to the FA Cup final in 1984, where they lost to Everton at Wembley.
