Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has joined his former side AC Milan on loan until the end of the season.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers made it clear to the temperamental Italian that he was surplus to requirements at Anfield only 12 months after joining the club in a £16 million deal.
Balotelli has been warned by Milan CEO Adriano Galliani this is his final chance to impress.
“I’m happy to be back,” he told reporters on his return to the Rossoneri.
“I’m fit, I just need to train with my team-mates. I don’t want want to talk too much, I’m only focused on working hard because I want to have a good season.”
The 25-year-old scored 26 goals in 37 league games for Serie A outfit during his first stint with the club in 2013.
