New Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers admits he doesn’t regret quitting Celtic for Leicester City.
Speaking today for the first time since his return to the club, the Northern Irishman revealed his only regret was the hurt his departure caused.
He said: “For the people that don’t want me here, hopefully I can shift their opinions.
“When I left it was a sad moment. I don’t regret it but I regret the hurt it caused people.
“It’s why I’m sat here today. It was a big part of me coming back.
“It was a sad time because of the relationships I had built up. Despite what I have read and what I hear, I wouldn’t be sat here today if I didn’t have the relationship with the guys around the table.”
