Arnaud Djoum has signed a new deal at Hearts which will keep him at the club until the summer of 2017.
The Belgium midfielder has impressed head coach Robbie Neilson in his short spell at Hearts enough to earn him a new deal.
The 26-year-old has scored three goals in seven games and has made an impact in those matches with his energy, passing and dynamism in midfield.
Djoum becomes the second player in as many days to commit his future to Hearts with Brazilian Igor Rossi penning a new contract until the summer of 2017.
Hearts host Inverness CT on Saturday hoping to narrow the gap on second-placed Aberdeen.
