Brian Easton says St Johnstone are confident of landing more silverware after Tuesday’s League Cup quarter-final victory over Morton.
The Saints sealed their place in the semi-final draw – which will take place on November 9 – thanks to goals from Steven MacLean, Michael O’Halloran and Chris Kane.
That result comes off the back of a victory over Rangers in the round before and Scottish Cup success in 2014, and Easton says it has given them more hunger for success.
“We’re one game away from another final and possibly another bit of silverware”, he told Peter and Roughie’s Football Show.
“Winning the Scottish Cup a couple of seasons ago definitely gives you the confidence that it can be done and it gives you the hunger to do it again.”
