Ex-Celtic striker Joe Miller reveals he didn’t think he would live to see 2020 after a horror Covid-19 episode.
The former Hoops star was hospitalised after showing symptoms of the deadly virus in December last year.
And the ex-footie ace admitted he was fearful for his life, but still insisted he was one of the lucky ones.
He told PLZ Soccer: “It was pretty frightening at one point. I went through a lot of fluids and oxygen so I know what people are going through now, but I think I was lucky.
“The symptoms people are suffering just now seem to be far worse. I think overall Scotland and particularly Nicola Sturgeon have handled it well.
“She’s got everybody to knuckle down and be sensible about this and that’s speaking from experience.
“I thought it was just a bad flu, but my temperature was really high and my blood pressure was low. I was struggling to breathe
“When the doctor came that was when they made the decision I had to go into hospital.”
