Hamilton have announced the signing of midfielder Aaron Smith from Nottingham Forest.
Smith is the third signing in the last 24 hours for Accies, who also brought in Tom Taiwo and Mason Bloomfield over the weekend.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder impressed for Forest in the under-23 Premier League but was released at the end of his contract last season.
Accies boss Martin Canning told the club website: “Aaron is one who we think has potential and can develop further in our environment. He’s got good ability, has goals in him from midfield and we’re really looking forward to working with him.”
Smith added: “For me, I just want to try and get my name on the team sheet first and foremost.
“It’s a big stage up here in Scotland and the club have a good track record of bringing through young players.”
Hamilton had confirmed a deal to bring in 28-year-old Taiwo following a four-year spell at Falkirk, while Bloomfield has joined on a year-long loan from Norwich.
On Bloomfield, Canning said: “Mason is a great addition to our forward line; he’s 6’3″, he’s mobile and he’s got a real desire to come here and score goals.”
