MacLean injury blow for ‘Well

Motherwell winger Ross MacLean faces a spell on the sidelines after suffering an arm injury.

The 19-year-old, who has made eight first-team appearances this season, ended up with his arm in a sling in hospital after going off during Motherwell’s Scottish Youth Cup win over Patrick Thistle on Sunday, which took the holders into the semi-finals.

MacLean had just returned from a five-week lay-off with a broken toe.
