Serbia international Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has revealed he would be happy to stay at Lazio and expects his future to be resolved after a summer break.
The 23-year-old midfielder has been linked with a switch to Manchester United and his next move will be brought into sharper focus now Serbia have been knocked out of the World Cup.
However, Milinkovic-Savic wants to take some time off before determining his future.
And he stressed he is not angling for a move away from Serie A side Lazio, who he has been with for three years.
“I need a little bit of rest now,” the Serb told Italian broadcaster Mediaset.
“I’ll return to Rome and I would be happy if I stay at Lazio as I’m content there and I have a contract.
“I read something different in the papers every day, but I haven’t thought about it yet. First I’ll rest for a bit, then we’ll see.”
