Motherwell have announced Aaron Taylor-Sinclair as their fourth signing of the summer.
The former Partick Thistle defender has joined the Steelmen on a one-year deal after he was released by Plymouth at the end of the season.
Taylor-Sinclair, 27, impressed at Thistle for three years earlier as they broke into the Premiership before earning a move to Wigan.
He failed to break into the side before moving to Doncaster and then Plymouth, but following his release, is looking to get regular first-team action after being courted by Motherwell.
“The manager got in touch with me early, straight after the season finished.” Taylor-Sinclair told the club website after joining Mark Gillespie, Liam Donnelly and Danny Johnson through the doors at Fir Park.
“When that happens, you feel wanted as a player. I’m delighted to come here.
“I just want to get games under my belt and get going.”
Manager Stephen Robinson added: “He has an excellent pedigree, both here in the top flight and at a good level in England.
“His style of play fits perfectly into how we try to approach the game and we’re looking forward to working with him.”
