Juventus have signed striker Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli in a deal worth £75 million, the Lega Serie A have confirmed.
The Bianconeri triggered the striker’s release clause in his contract having already agreed personal terms with the club.
The 28-year-old has signed a four-year deal and will be paid over £6m a year.
Higuain struck 36 times in the league last term, breaking the Serie A record of most goals scored in one season.
He becomes the third most expensive player in world football after Bale (£85m) and Ronaldo (£80m).
