Rangers are set to complete a deal for St Johnstone’s Michael O’Halloran after the two clubs agreed a fee for the attacker.
The deal is believed to be around £500,000.
O’Halloran is set to undergo a medical with the club on Monday. The Light Blues pushed back their pre-match press conference against Raith Rovers from 12:30 to 4pm.
The Championship outfit looked set to miss out on the 25-year-old having had two bids rejected for O’Halloran earlier in the January transfer window.
The Saints attacker has been in impressive form with five goals and 11 assists this season and put in a man-of-the-match performance against Rangers in the League Cup earlier this term.
Rangers have signed Maciej Gostomski, Harry Forrester and Billy King on loan from Hearts plus Josh Windass and Matt Crooks on pre-contracts from Accrington Stanley.
