Dundee have two players named on the PFA Scotland Premiership Player of the year shortlist, while both Scottish champions-elect Celtic and Aberdeen have one.
Attackers Kane Hemmings and Greg Stewart have been recognised for their impressive performances this season for the Dark Blues, while Hoops striker Leigh Griffiths and Aberdeen winger Jonny Hayes complete the four-man list.
Hemmings is Dundee’s top scorer with 25 goals this season, while Stewart, who was nominated last season and has attracted interest from Rangers, has 11 goals.
Celtic striker Griffiths is the club’s top scorer having amassed 38 goals and looks in all likelihood to have fired Ronny Deila’s men to five in a row.
Hayes has been an integral part of Aberdeen’s title challenge which has only faded in recent weeks. The winger, who made his international debut for Ireland this season, has 10 assists in 31 league games.
The winner of the award will be announced on May 1.
