The SPFL are set to boost Scottish clubs with a much needed £3.6M cash injection.
The money will be split between all 42 Scottish clubs across the cinch Premiership, cinch Championship, cinch League 1 and cinch League 2.
Today’s SPFL General Meeting revealed the total amount shared by Scotland’s clubs in 2020/2021 was over £28M, the highest figure in the history of the league.
The latest distribution of funds, which is nearly £3.6M plus VAT, will reach the majority of clubs this week.
The total figure distributed for season 2020/21 is £3M above budget and £5M more than the total fees distributed in 2019/20.
