Even the Old Firm will find wins “hard to come by” this season insists Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes.
The Dons face Hibernian in tomorrow night’s Betfred Cup quarter-final after winning just two of their six league matches this season.
Meanwhile Neil Lennon’s Hibs side are sitting third in the table, behind Rangers only on goal difference.
But the Pittodrie manager insists the cup clash at Easter Road will be a tricky tie for both sides.
He said: “I think wins will be harder to come by for everyone including the Old Firm this season.
“Hibs will be confident after Saturday’s 3-0 win away from home but to get to a semi final you need to beat good teams.
“We just need to knuckle down and get wins under our belt and tomorrow’s game is a big one for us.”
