Rangers winger Jamie Murphy is set to miss the rest of the SPFL season, it has been confirmed.
The Scottish international picked up a cruciate ligament injury during the Ibrox club’s 3-1 over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.
The Ayrshire club’s plastic pitch came under scrutiny after the 28-year-old was stretchered off at the weekend during the League Cup clash.
The Gers ace posted a message to the club’s fans after news of the extent of the damage was revealed.

The Light blues signed Murphy from Brighton after a successful loan spell last season saw him score five goals in 19 games.
