Former Hearts winger Andrew Driver has signed a short-term deal at Aberdeen, the club have announced.

Driver has been training at the club over the past couple of weeks and, after a spell in MLS with Houston Dynamo, has joined Aberdeen until the end of the season.

Dons boss Derek McInnes is pleased to have landed the 27-year-old on a short-term basis.

“I’m delighted to get Andy on board. Hopefully he will make the most of this opportunity we’ve given him,” he told the club’s official website.

“During his time with us I believe there has been enough to suggest that he can be a good addition to our squad.”
