Celtic got all the big decisions, claims Dillon PLZ Soccer
Dundee United skipper Sean Dillon bemoaned his side’s luck in the Scottish League Cup final, insisting Celtic got all the key decisions.

Dillon was sent off by referee Bobby Madden for a reckless lunge in on Emilio Izaguirre in the second half but claimed that the Arabs should have had a penalty when Ryan Dow was bundled to the ground by Hoops captain Scott Brown.

To compound Dillon’s misery Celtic were then awarded a spot kick of their own and, even although substitute James Forrest missed, the Hoops comfortably saw out the final 2-0.

“The lads were saying at half-time that they felt it was a penalty, certainly Dowser felt it was a penalty.”

“They got big decisions – we’re looking for a penalty and we don’t get it, they’re looking for a penalty and they do.

“We need to move on now, it’s done and we can’t change anything.”

Goals from Kris Commons and Forrest sealed Ronny Deila’s first piece of silverware as Celtic boss in the second of four meetings against Jackie McNamara’s side in a fortnight.

The duo go head to head again in Wednesday’s Scottish Cup quarter-final replay at Celtic Park.
