Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola is set to announce he is departing the Allianz Arena, according to reports in Spain.
Guardiola has been heavily linked with a number of Premier League clubs, including Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea, and, according to Marca on Wednesday, he has told Bayern officials of his intention to leave the Bundesliga oufit.
The 44-year-old was asked about his future after Bayern’s DFB-Pokal victory over Darmstadt on Tuesday, he told German broadcaster ARD: “Tonight I have no answer. Next week you will know the answer. Next week there will be clarity.”
Guardiola took over from treble-winning coach Jupp Heynckes at the Bavarians in the summer of 2013 and has led them to two Bundesliga titles and the DFB Pokal.
The club currently sit five points clear at the summit of the league with just one game to go before their winter shutdown.
The Spaniard won 14 trophies in four years at Barcelona before taking a year out.
