Ross County extend Fraser's contract

Ross County defender Marcus Fraser has received another boost after receiving a Scotland Under-21 call-up by signing a new two-year deal with the club.

Fraser joined the Staggies in January and signed until the end of the season after being released by Celtic but has impressed boss Jim McIntyre so much that he was offered an extension.

The new deal comes only a day after he received news of a call-up to Danny Lennon’s Scotland U21 side for the friendly against Hungary.

Fraser began the season on loan at Cowdenbeath, playing 13 games with Jimmy Nicholl’s side and has played a further eight for County.
