"We are the most football-attending nation in Europe." So why do Scandinavian leagues get bigger TV deals than the SPFL? Peter Martin, Tam McManus and Gordon Parks on the SPFL handing out more than 50 million pounds to its clubs: Neil Doncaster and the Sky deal, Setanta's collapse and going back to Sky "cap in hand", and why Scotland is "always going to be the paupers in any deal" next to the Premier League.
Plus the claim that Scottish football gets just 3.8% of Sky's coverage, who gets what from the handout (Celtic over 5 million, Motherwell around a million) and 100 million plus for finishing bottom in England.
