Neil McCann reacts to Kilmarnock's Premier Sports Cup exit, beaten by Aberdeen on penalties after a 1-1 draw. The Kilmarnock boss admits it was a golden opportunity missed - his side had the extra man in extra time and didn't take it - refuses to blame his penalty takers ("anybody can miss penalties"), and demands a response: "I really hope they're hurt."
WHY IS THIS SCOTTISH LEAGUE CUP EXIT SO PAINFUL FOR KILMARNOCK?
McCann on the "very cruel way to lose a game", why the bigger disappointment is failing to punish a 10-man Aberdeen, and the message he gave his players in extra time: move the ball quick and take individual responsibility.
CAN KILMARNOCK BOUNCE BACK?
With a trip to Hibs next, McCann says professional sport gives you no time to wallow - he wants his players hurt, but ready to recover fast, and backs himself and his staff to lead them out of it.
