Rapid Wien 2-2 Hearts (Hearts win on penalties) -- Hearts are into the group stage of European football for the first time, beating Rapid Vienna in a penalty shootout in Austria after a dramatic 120 minutes. Written off by almost everyone, Wouter Vrancken's side were superb: Kaboré guided a clever equalizer in off his chest, Calvin Miller's acrobatic goal looked like the winner even with Hearts down to 10 men, and although Rapid Vienna equalized in the last few seconds, goalkeeper Boruc saved two penalties in the shootout to send the Jambos through. A huge lift for Scottish football when it needed it most.
