Transcript:
Hearts five, St Mirren nil and an emphatic victory here for the home side in front of an appreciative crowd and they really deserve all that they got St Mirren from this game because Hearts were rampant. Two penalties Calvin Miller converted one in either half but at the start it was Laurent Mendy who gave the home side the perfect start with a left foot shot into the roof of the net. Then of course Miller converted both penalties. And on the end of that, Claudio Braga rounded the goalkeeper to make it four before Josh McPake picked his spot to make it 5-0 to the Jambos. Good win for them here. Gives them three points and also sets them up nicely for that Europa Conference match against Nordsjælland on Thursday evening.
Elsewhere, Rangers go top of the Scottish Premiership with a 3-1 win over Kilmarnock. Ryan Naderi scoring two in that match. Kevin Kelsy getting the other goal for Rangers. Cleșcenco with the consolation. Dundee's Ashley Hay scored a 90th minute winner to give them a 2-1 win at the Falkirk Stadium. And it was one goal from Daniel Bennie that settled it in Dundee United's favour against Hibs. Jacob Devaney was sent off in that match for the Hibees. Three points for the Tannadice men as well.
Interesting afternoon in the Scottish Premiership. Rangers top of the table. What a week it's been for them. Manager of the month in Derek McInnes and of course MCA nabbing the player of the month as well. They're top of the table albeit for 24 hours because 12 noon tomorrow at Fir Park, it's Motherwell against Celtic and Aberdeen are at home later on in the afternoon against St Johnstone.
