Dundee United against Aberdeen, and the back story: Stephen Robinson back under pressure according to Gordon. Well, I was just about to say to you, never mind that Stephen Robinson just announced that there's a virus just gone through the whole Aberdeen side and he's going to wait till the last minute to pick a... If there's a virus, there's a virus. You know that Parksy was up there, coughing away at people last week in the press conference. He's sabotaged him. Yeah. His pal Stephen. I like Stephen. Stephen's a terrific coach. I just think he's in the wrong movie, Aberdeen. And I think they recruited really poorly.

Well, they won last week. He's recruited really well if he's the manager... Aberdeen, not for me. Aberdeen. Well, wait a minute. Wait a minute. You've said not for me. Yeah. But you know we are dealing with... Don't let your eyes deceive you. Go to games. See how they play. Look at the results. They got a win last week and they're up against Dundee United. They were rotten last week. They won. Doesn't matter. They had to win, the law of averages. They got the win. They were rotten against St Johnstone. They've been rotten in the games. Let your eyes tell you the truth then. I'm not his defence lawyer. Yeah. What I'm saying is all about winning. Yeah. Stephen Robinson needs time. He needs time to... If you want to take that to another level then. Is that good enough for Aberdeen?

Well, what is good enough for Aberdeen? What's good enough for Aberdeen? They won the Scottish Cup without having a shot on target. I know they did. But Aberdeen fans want to raise the bar. They want to see something better. They want a style of football that makes it more appealing to go and watch them. And that ain't Stephen Robinson by any manner. And it's just the truth. And that's why, by the way, the collective Aberdeen support, to a man, almost wants Stephen out. It's not just me. I don't really care because I don't care about... I've not got a dog in the race.

So with that in mind, Stephen Robinson has to look and say to himself, how do I get Aberdeen the way I want them to play?

But this is what happens. And you need to if you're a manager going into a big club, you need to buy yourself time. So Stephen Robinson needs to go in there, he needs to win games to buy himself time to get a better style of play to maybe win games further and a better style further down the line. But you need to win straight away. A manager's at his most powerful, right, when he first arrives at a football club, but there's also a myth that fans get you the sack. I know they do, but it's players that spit the manager out first of all for not having them. If they don't like what they see quickly ultimately and you're right the tolerance levels for failure is becoming such an ever-decreasing margin of error that sometimes a player who hits a purple patch can paper over cracks and help you along and Joe Harper's gone on record as saying he wants Stephen Robinson to put Ayub Malua into the starting line-up.

I must admit, every time I've seen him, I've been impressed with him.

So do they go two up front and did they play Nisbet beside Malua? That could be one for tomorrow. Yeah.
