HIBERNIAN 2-1 SHKËNDIJA | FT REACTION ull-time reaction as Hibernian edge KF Shkendija 2-1 in the first leg of their Conference League qualifier.

Hibs dominated possession and took the lead, only for Marco Jorgenski to punish some weak defending and equalise for the North Macedonians. In the end Hibs had too much: Warren O'Hora turned in the winner from close range after a corner scramble to give David Gray's side a slender first-leg lead.

It was another nervy European performance, and the questions about David Gray will keep coming. Hibs now head to Rangers at Ibrox on Sunday - Rangers themselves beaten in Poland this week - before the second leg away in North Macedonia.

HIBERNIAN 2-1 SHKËNDIJA and at the end he did manage to get that crucial home win in the first leg. Put them ahead after just 73 minutes. It was a long way there. Dominating possession but right a little bit of ingenuity on his Dy managed to set up the Irishman who turned it in from close range. Marco Jorgenski got in behind, took advantage of some pretty weak defending and equalised, tucking the ball past Rafael Sal. But in the end, Hibs had too much for their North. Macedonian opponents O'Hora turning one in from the goal line after a scramble from a corner and he gets that win in the first leg. A lot of questions going to be asked of him after another difficult performance against European opposition. But they go on to Rangers at Ibrox on Sunday who of course lost today themselves in European action over Poland and then after that it is the second leg in North Macedonia
