David, what a performance to make it 17 league games unbeaten—how do you feel about that?

Over the moon, obviously. I think, as you say, great performance, fantastic result. To score four goals in the Premiership is very difficult, but delighted with the clean sheet as well. And like you've touched on there—the level of consistency, the level of performance and the effort I'm getting from the players every single day in training and in the games now is incredible. And that's a reflection on, you know, 17 games undefeated, which is an incredible achievement.

The record is something everyone seems to be talking about. Are you thinking about it? Is it kind of in the dressing room?

We talk about it, but at the same time we've been very much about short-term goals a lot this season because of the nature of the season, and where we found ourselves to where we are now. You know, little incentives to try and change history in positive ways—it's probably a quote I've used a lot this season—but we've managed to do that several times, and today was another opportunity to do that.

The one thing I would say now is the challenge for us is if we keep winning, nobody can catch us. That's the one thing I keep saying to the players all the time, and if that keeps happening, the run will keep going. So, no—the players are desperate to keep that going.

There’s a real feel-good factor around the club at the minute. It's a real togetherness—from the staff to the players to the fans, the powers-that-be above—everyone’s in a real good place. But we’re all determined now to make sure we finish as strong as we can.

What pleased you most about the performance?

I thought the way we started the game really pleased me—on the front foot, you know. Maybe if we’d been a wee bit more clinical, a couple of chances—you know, the one hits the post—a wee bit unlucky. If it goes 2–0, we get the second goal a little bit earlier, I thought we were really on the front foot. Switched the ball really well and played really with aggression and intensity, which is good to see.

While it's only 1–0 going in at half-time, you always expect a bit of a reaction from Dundee, and we definitely got that. I thought Dundee started the game probably slightly better in the second half. We were a wee bit flatter, but then I thought the subs coming on really impacted the game in a positive way.

And it's something I speak a lot about—I've got a fantastic squad of players, not just in technical ability but as a group. You know, they’re really close together. And when subs come on and impact a game like that—they're disappointed not to play—but you can really feel it when they come on and impact it like that. You can’t ask for any more.

At this stage of the season, you know, kind of fatigue starts to become a factor for some teams. Do you just think you guys are getting stronger?

Yeah, I think a lot of that comes with momentum and belief and feeling good about yourself. I say that a lot—excuse me—it doesn’t take as long to recover when you win as when you get a negative result. Your body feels a lot worse.

What about Rocky—100 appearances and a goal today. Talk about him.

It’s a perfect way to round off your 100th appearance. You know, it’s a great achievement in itself. I think he's come into the team and been incredible—his level of performance, his level of consistency. And then when you isolate his performance today—a goal, a clean sheet, and finishing well, putting ourselves third when the split comes—it’s the perfect day's work for Rocky. And I'm delighted for him because we feel he deserves it.
