Martin O’Neill hits back at Tony Bloom pitch invasion comments. Martin O'Neill turns the press accountability question back on the press itself. Hearts owner Tony Bloom made the "two of their players were assaulted" claim on talkSPORT — O'Neill says the press never followed up.
"Obviously the statement was dealing with me, and so I'm surprised that no one has further investigated these assault charges. I thought that Mr Bloom might have been questioned a wee bit further by Jim in that — but seemingly not."
Watch the full press conference for the rest of the response, including the "nothing's been proved" exchange and the 10-year pitch-invasion prediction.
Where do you stand? 🟢 O'Neill is right or 🟡 Bloom is right? Comment below.
