Dunfermline manager Neil Lennon praised his old boss Martin O’Neill ahead of their cup final battle. Neil Lennon pays tribute to his old boss Martin O'Neill 24 hours before they face each other at Hampden in the Scottish Cup Final.
"He teaches you how to win. I was very, very lucky that I had ten years of Martin in his pomp. Everyone talks about what he did here [Celtic] — what he did at Leicester was incredible. Getting promotion, then four top-ten finishes in the Premier League, three League Cup Finals — on a fraction of a budget compared to the rest. If that was a modern-day manager now, you'd be going to Bayern Munich, or somewhere like that."
Two managers. One Hampden final. A privilege walking out — and a determination to take down his old boss.
Saturday's Cup Final is the longest 90 minutes Lennon will ever spend in the technical area at Hampden. Celtic chasing the treble. Dunfermline chasing their first Scottish Cup in 58 years.
