"Rangers would have won TWO titles" if they'd signed Shankland. Tam McManus delivers his deep-dive verdict on Lawrence Shankland's move from Hearts to Rangers — and drops the BOMBSHELL hypothetical that Rangers would have already won two league titles if they'd signed him three years ago.
"He's a fantastic sign. He's a difference maker. He gets you another 20-25 goals." — Tam McManus
But Hearts fans will be "really, really angry" at losing their captain and talisman for nothing.

A lot of heart supporters would be really, really angry at this, in that they're going to lose their captain, their talisman, for nothing, the Rangers, but in terms of our Rangers, I think he's a fantastic sign and I think if Rangers had signed him three years ago, two, three years ago, they'd had two league titles in it. I think the one with Clement, well, they, I think they went to Ross County and Dundee, I think they drew an ill-known, get beat after Ross County 3-2. That season, they needed a goal scorer, and I think this season, I think on all the Rangers, I've probably scored the most goals in the league, but I think just adding him into that, I think he gets you another 20-25 goals and that could be the difference as well, so I think he's a difference maker and I think he's a fantastic sign in for Rangers.
