Rangers manager Derek McInnes speaks to the media after his side came from behind to beat Falkirk 2-1 at the Falkirk Stadium, with Lawrence Shankland scoring both goals to hand the Ibrox side back-to-back Scottish Premiership wins.

McInnes — watching from the stands as he served the first game of his touchline ban — reflects on a "proper captain's performance" from Shankland, admits Rangers made hard work of a game they controlled for long spells, and explains what went wrong during Falkirk's second-half spell on top. He also gives his verdict on Nico Raskin's future amid transfer speculation, with the window closing before Saturday's game against Motherwell at Ibrox.

Why Rangers "played into Falkirk's hands" for 15-20 minutes
Lessons from a tricky night on a difficult pitch
Nico Raskin's transfer situation and McInnes' relief the window is closing
Looking ahead to Motherwell at Ibrox on Saturday

A Lawrence Shankland double dragged Derek McInnes' Rangers to all three points at the Falkirk Stadium. Shankland struck twice with his left foot, an eighth-minute effort into the roof of the net and a curling finish into the bottom corner 11 minutes from time, either side of a Kostadin Nedeljković own goal that had levelled it for Falkirk before half-time. It wasn't pretty, and Falkirk had chances of their own, but McInnes won't care as his side grind out a much-needed win.
