Should Lawrence Shankland be the new Rangers captain? "More than equipped to LEAD" — Colin Hendry backs Shankland as Rangers captain. Colin Hendry doubles down on his Shankland-to-Rangers endorsement — and predicts the Hearts captain will inherit the Rangers armband from James Tavernier.

"He's more than equipped to lead. That would be a statement right away, I would think. And I would think there's a very high possibility of him becoming the captain as well." — Colin Hendry

After Tavernier's exit, Rangers face a captaincy vacuum — and one of Scottish football's most outspoken voices is convinced Shankland is the man.
