‘We need MORE signings’ | Derek McInnes post match interview for Dundee United 1-1 Rangers

Derek McInnes says Rangers' new signings "need to land pretty soon" after his first competitive match in charge ended in a 1-1 draw away to Dundee United on the opening day of the 2026-27 Scottish Premiership.

Lachlan Rose put the hosts ahead at Tannadice before Thelo Aasgaard levelled for Rangers just before the hour, but the visitors couldn't force a winner — leaving McInnes to become the latest Rangers boss to drop points in his first league game.

Speaking afterwards, McInnes insisted there was "enough to be encouraged about" but made clear the squad still needs reinforcements, and quickly, with important league and European games coming fast.

Is McInnes right — do Rangers need more bodies through the door before this window shuts? Let us know below. 👇
