Partick Thistle manager Mark Wilson reflects on his side's Scottish Premiership playoff final defeat by St Mirren — a heartbreaking end to an incredible season at Firhill.
"Couldn't be prouder to be part of such a good group of guys. They're all in it together. We gave it our all — we just unfortunately came up short." — Mark Wilson
KEY MOMENTS
• Wilson on the fine margins: "We dealt with set pieces quite well against them over the course — but we just switched off for a second, and it's cost us."
• On the squad's character through injuries (lost Donnelly + multiple key players going into the final): "Full squad effort. Couldn't be prouder."
• On the Thistle support at Hampden: "Something different about tonight with the fans and the connection."
• The playoff reality: "When you get to these big games, you get to the final — it's going to be winners and losers."
It's a familiar feeling for some Thistle fans — but Wilson's verdict on this group of players is unequivocal. Watch the full post-match reflection from the Firhill boss.
