"We got a massive reaction at half-time." Stephen Robinson after Aberdeen 3-1 St Mirren at Pittodrie: a cracking start, Brad off at half-time with his knee, a first half where Aberdeen "sat back and didn't press properly", and a second half that changed "the mindset of stepping forward and pressing". He also says the crowd made their feelings known at half-time, "rightly so". Saturday 17 October 2026.
Transcript:
Yeah, we started brilliant. I mean, a cracking goal from Brad. Unfortunately, had to come off at half-time with... he got another reaction in his knee. And then we just sat back and we sat back and didn't press properly and didn't play the way we wanted to play. But, we got a massive reaction at half-time. You know, we changed it a little bit, but all we changed was the mindset of stepping forward and pressing and credit to the players 'cause that's difficult when the crowd are making our feelings known at half-time, rightly so. And they rose above that and responded to that and then you get people behind you because you're on the front foot. So I thought it could have been more, should have been more and it's amazing the confidence starts flowing when you score the second goal.
