Why are Martin O'Neill's Celtic in crisis?
The panel go through a chastening night. Mika Baur's goal aside, they call the performance "part two" of the Ibrox defeat, "meek" and, in one panelist's word, "spineless", with Liam Scales' own goal and woeful distribution, a lack of physicality and a defence anyone can "come at in swarms". They dissect O'Neill's "car crash" TNT Sports interview, the "honey" accusation that was really "Connie", and firmly defend reporter Connie McLaughlin.
Will the Celtic board axe Martin O'Neill?
Owen Coyle gives the manager's-eye view on a summer recruitment that left O'Neill with players "picked by others", why "you don't get two months to bed in" at Celtic and Rangers, and why the side has "no credibility back in Europe". With "real discontent" that has "come to the boil" and two new board appointments weighed as possible "appeasement", the panel ask how much longer O'Neill has.
Is Sunday's Old Firm "mood-defining" for O'Neill?
O'Neill insists Celtic are "far from rock bottom" and a win would put them "eight points clear", but the panel counter that while it may not be "career-defining", it is "mood-defining", and warn that if Celtic lose on Sunday "it's pandemonium again". Only a week ago, they note, the narrative was that Derek McInnes had to win this one.
