Brian Laudrup is a Rangers legend who will always be remembered as the man who scored the winning goal against Dundee United at Tannadice to deliver the 9th consecutive title for the Ibrox club at the end of 1997.

The great Dane could play as a winger, midfielder or striker and won two titles at his first club Brondby in the late 80’s. He won the Supercup with Bayern Munich and a Serie A title with Milan before agreeing to join Rangers in July 1994.

Laudrup was named the football writers and the PFA Scotland player of the year in 1995. He won 3 Premier League titles, 1 Scottish cup and 1 League cup with the Ibrox outfit.

He joined Chelsea in 1998, where he won the Uefa Supercup and had spells at FC Copenhagen and Ajax at the end of his career.

He won 82 caps for Denmark and was a vital part of the famous squad that won the European Championships in 1992 with a 2-0 win over Germany in the final in Gothenburg Sweden.
