Celtic face Celta Vigo in the Europa League and Hearts travel to Turkey to take on Trabzonspor – can either Scottish side get anything out of Europe this week? Peter Martin, Hugh MacDonald and Gordon Parks give their verdict on The Journos.
After battering Hearts 7-1, are Celtic about to come crashing back down to earth? And should Hearts shut up shop in Turkey?
"I can't see them getting anything out of Celta Vigo." Peter Martin, Gordon Parks and Hugh MacDonald on Celtic's Europa League game against Celta Vigo: the front six, a midfield that isn't "strong enough in Europe", a back four with "problems", and why "Colby Donovan's in for a long night". Then Hearts in Turkey against Trabzonspor and whether they should "save face", Brendan Rodgers' night in Dortmund, and 8-0 at Gretna. From The Journos, Wednesday 21 October 2026.
