Craig McLeish St Mirren post match interview: “We’re gonna fight until the very end” | Aberdeen 0-2 St Mirren reaction. Craig McLeish's St Mirren beat Aberdeen 2-0 at Pittodrie — and the interim boss tells PLZ Soccer his rebuild is working, three wins from three games as he fights to keep Saints in the Premiership.
🔴 MCLEISH ON THE WIN:
"I can't ask any more from the boys. They were fantastic. The biggest thing — they fought for each other. They stuck together. There were some tough moments within the game but I thought we thoroughly deserved our win."
🔴 THE TURNAROUND UNDER MCLEISH:
"When I took over the group, we had won one league game in 13. We've only won four games since Christmas — and I've been in charge of three of them. So I know I've had a positive impact on the group. I know what the group's capable of."
🔴 ON STAYING UP:
"Even a result like this tonight — Pittodrie is a really tough place to come. We've won away at Falkirk, we've won away to Aberdeen tonight. There's so much positives within the group we need to take from it and just keep that rolling. We know what we face in order to stay in the league."
