Derek McInnes' full press conference after Rangers beat Celtic 3-0 in the Premier Sports Cup Old Firm quarter-final at Ibrox - a statement win that takes Rangers into the semi-finals. McInnes on the performance "that was required", the captain's two brilliant goals, owning the recent European defeat ("we weren't ready"), his tactical calls, the dressing-room spirit, and the honesty about the pressure of managing Rangers.
WHAT DID DEREK McINNES SAY AFTER RANGERS 3-0 CELTIC?
The Rangers boss on setting up to expose Celtic in 1v1s and tap into a 50,000 Ibrox crowd, scoring good goals at good times, and why individual performances win derbies more than tactics.
THE CAPTAIN'S BRACE AND THE TACTICAL CALLS
McInnes on his captain's two stunning goals, the midfield balance with Nico Raskin and James Penrose, moving Penrose into midfield, and the two strikers' pressing work (with Ryan Naderi playing through a dead leg alongside Kevin Kelsy).
OWNING THE LAST DEFEAT - AND THE PRESSURE
"We weren't ready." McInnes takes responsibility for a lackluster European display in the Czech Republic, reflects on the turnaround, the criticism that comes even when winning, and admits "it can be tough working for Rangers" - with the return Old Firm at Celtic Park to come.
